Preservation Projects

One of my passions is helping families preserve their unique treasures so they are safe for years to come. Documents, photographs, letters, and other personal materials are important parts of the history of your family. Making sure these items are properly arranged and cared for are vital to preserving the integrity of the materials and ensures that your family can still handle and enjoy them in the future.

Things I do when working with a family's archive:

1. Arrange the material by type or chronologically

2. Label folders and boxes to match collection contents

3. Place photos, albums, and other special items in archival sleeves and boxes

4. Creating a finding aid
